F-PROT Antivirus earns a VB100 Award

F-PROT Antivirus has won a VB100 award in Virus Bulletin's August 2012 comparative review on Windows 7.

VB100 comparative testing is a regular independent comparison of anti-malware solutions. The VB100 award is a certification of products which meet the basic standards required to be recognized as legitimate and properly functioning anti-malware solutions. To earn the VB100 logo, a product must prove it can detect 100% of malware samples supplied by the WildList Organization and generate no false positives during a test set of clean samples.
